Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable & Receivable

Just Building Inc. is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to manage our day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the company's QuickBooks account, including accurate transaction entry, and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoices, customer billing, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate financial records for customers, vendors, subcontractors, and construction projects.
• Ensure financial information is accurately coordinated between Buildertrend (CRM System) and QuickBooks.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports and accounting summaries, providing accounting support to management.
• Coordinate with our Accountant as needed for monthly and year-end accounting/taxes.
• Track project expenses, subcontractor costs, materials, and other job-related expenditures.
• Track outstanding customer balances and other aging receivables.
• Maintain organized and confidential accounting records.
• Perform other bookkeeping and accounting duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred.
• QuickBooks experience required.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job costing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
