• Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient
• Location: New London, New Hampshire
• Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Range: $37.35 – $57.74 per hour (based on experience) + Benefits

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician. The OT will provide care that promotes patient safety, restores function, prevents disability, and helps patients achieve their highest level of independence and performance.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide treatment using manual therapy, neuro-rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercise, and functional activities
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home programs
• Monitor patient progress and communicate recommendations to physicians
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure patient charges are entered accurately and promptly
• Supervise and direct OT assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as appropriate
• Participate in quality improvement, orientation, and educational activities
• Maintain department cleanliness, safety, and equipment standards

-> Required Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification (AHA)
• Licensed Occupational Therapist with New Hampshire eligibility
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy or equivalent

Strongly Preferred

• Experience providing Occupational Therapy in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with upper extremity and ambulatory orthopedic conditions
• Experience with post-operative and neurologic rehabilitation
