We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.Job Summary:The Director, Sales- EDA & Physical AI is responsible for driving new sales and assisting with go-to-market strategies Supermicro. This includes building plans and programs that will drive business in new markets and new customer segments that leverage our channels and existing and emerging strategic partnerships. This individual must have strong sales hunting, discipline, and leadership experience with strong domain experience in AI server hardware and solutions. Candidates will have experience in working in a multi-national, cross-functional organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and execute effective strategies to win and maintain customer accounts.Identify, qualify, develop, and close EDA and physical AI sales against quotas across industry verticals.Establish relationships with potential Customers, Partners, System integrators, VARs, and OEM customersUncover opportunities for senior management to generate revenue from high-level executivesAssemble a pipeline of both short-term and long-term opportunities through target lists for vertical marketsMonitor inventory, negotiate prices, enter and monitor order stats, facilitate credit issues, and negotiate returnsTravel to customer sites to present Supermicro’s products as well as to maintain account integritySupervise/Co-supervise varied levels of a sales team, including directing work, providing training and development, and managing performance-related issuesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree and MBA preferred5-10 years of people management experience managing teams, coaching managers, and setting strategy. 15+ years of experience in a server sales environment preferredResults-oriented drive and a solid work ethicSolid oral and written communication skills, executive presence, and judgmentAbility to prioritize and manage competing tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong negotiation, presentation, and closing skillsMust be willing to utilize self-admin skills as neededAbility to travel up to 35% of the time or as neededSalary Range​$142,000 - $235,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
