This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with relationship-building skills to drive growth and deliver value to customers in a dynamic and evolving industry.What You'll DoAs a key member of the sales organization, you'll serve as both a technical advisor and trusted partner to customers, helping them understand how the company's capabilities can best support their operations. Working closely with the Director of Sales, you'll play a hands-on role in driving business across multiple units while ensuring customer satisfaction from order to delivery.Customer Engagement & Sales GrowthPartner with customers to understand needs and recommend the right technical solutions.Support two core business units while contributing to sales initiatives across other divisions.Build strong, lasting relationships by delivering prompt, effective, and knowledgeable service.Technical Expertise & SupportReview inquiries, establish pricing, and develop process plans for steel ingot and billet production.Stay current on steelmaking and downstream processes to serve as a technical resource for customers and sales staff.Assist in order planning, scheduling, and product disposition, ensuring smooth execution from inquiry to delivery.Operational ExcellenceOversee customer orders and deliveries while managing WIP and inventory levels.Track product and order profitability to support strategic decision-making.Investigate customer claims in coordination with Metallurgy and drive them to resolution.Identify opportunities to improve the sales and customer service process and put ideas into action.Leadership & CollaborationStep in to advise and support the Sales Department in the absence of the Director of Sales.Work closely with internal teams to ensure the highest standards of service and safety are upheld.What We're Looking For3–5 years of sales or marketing experience in the steel or metals industry is a plus.Solid technical foundation with the ability to translate complex processes into customer-focused solutions.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally, nationally, and internationally (25–30%).Why Join?This is more than a sales job — it's an opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing metals company while building relationships and delivering technical solutions that matter.
