For more information, please visit**This role will require the individual to be located in the greater Charlotte based.**The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for leading, directing and managing the assigned regional sales team in the US. The RSD motivates and leads his/her team in an effort to achieve new levels of performance, revenue growth and customer satisfaction across all channels. The RSD is responsible for planning sales strategies and execution plans to enable the region to achieve its sales and profitability objectives. The RSD interfaces closely with customers to develop sales plans, identify and develop advocates relationships and ensure sound service levels with customers in all channels. The RSD is responsible to communicate and lead his/her team in a way that is aligned with the companies' strategies, long and short-term goals and direction.**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**Leading the Team:* Assess and optimize the sales structure in order to maximize results.* Hire, train, coach and develop Sales Representatives.* Use the Dashboard and performance evaluation tools to manage the performance of the Sales Representatives and ensure they are executing all key responsibilities according to standards.Leading the Regional Business:* Primarily responsible to drive regional team to maximize distribution across all channels, categories, and product models.* Lead the execution and delivery of sales objectives, consistent with company values, in support of company volume, profit and market share objectives.* Develop specific customer marketing and sales strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term goals.* Develop plans to achieve annual revenue goals, within the sales budgets for the region, to achieve profit contribution goals.* Understand the marketplace and leverage this information to make strategic business decisions relative to customer and consumer initiatives.* Responsible for using reporting and analytics from various sources provided to maximize business in partnership with Head Golf Professionals and Callaway Staff Directors of Golf* Frequently solicit and gather market share insights and feedback and review daily sales analysis report.* Balance short-term tasks against long-term strategic initiatives**TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)*** Golf industry expertise* Ability to lead, motivate and elevate a team of sales professionals while at the same time providing organizational enthusiasm for all that is Callaway Golf, both internally and externally.* Fact-based decision making with a pragmatic view of the marketplace and of the opportunities within it, but also one who brings recommended solutions to problems and issues at hand.* Skilled in strategic leadership* Skilled in talent management* Skilled in change management* Skilled in achieving sales targets and objectives.* Skilled in managing budgets.* Skilled in motivating and leading a group of people.* Excellent business acumen* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent organizational skills* An understanding of the importance of brand building and an ability to manage development of the brand in channels assigned.* Account management experience required; different channels of business preferred.* Ability to learn and utilized Predictive Index (PI) tools for career development coaching.* Ability to learn new products and positioning in the marketplace.**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*** Minimum 10 years sales experience* Golf industry experience required.* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience* Sales management experience preferred#LI-AL1**DE&I and EEOC:*****Inclusion & Diversity:***As a purpose-led, performance driven company, we strive to foster a culture of belonging based on respect, connection, openness and authenticity.
