Hiring immediately — Cavell Law, a boutique litigation firm in Highland Heights, is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team right away. $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours Work Location: On-site — Highland Heights, OH (free on-site parking) About the Role Cavell Law is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our boutique litigation firm. This role is ideal for someone with prior legal experience — such as a legal secretary, billing clerk, or legal assistant — who is dependable, organized, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative responsibilities in a professional yet relaxed office environment. As the first point of contact for the firm, you'll serve as the face of Cavell Law, providing courteous, professional phone coverage and a great first impression for every caller. What You'll Do Answer and direct incoming calls professionally, serving as the firm's first impression Assist with legal billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable (Clio experience a plus) Manage office expenses and perform basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online Open and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail and deliveries Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems Provide general administrative support as needed Exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality with all client information What We're Looking For Prior experience in a legal setting strongly preferred Familiarity with law firm billing platforms (Clio, MyCase, or similar) preferred Proficiency with QuickBooks Online for expense tracking and basic bookkeeping Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Friendly, professional phone demeanor and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion Why Work With Us Competitive pay: $20-$23/hour, commensurate with experience Casual, collegial workplace with a relaxed dress code 401(k) retirement plan with match Supportive team that values work-life balance #J-18808-Ljbffr Cavell Law, LLC
