Overview Site Superintendent (Commercial Construction) – Arlington Heights, Illinois Osman Construction Corporation has served the Chicago metropolitan region for over 75 years, originally founded as Hope Construction Company in 1946 and incorporated under the Osman name in 1972. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to take ownership of commercial projects from the ground up and deliver them on time, on budget, and to Osman's standard. Osman is a firm that self-performs the most critical parts of every project, including selective demolition, concrete, masonry, carpentry, and fixturing, with our own veteran union trades. We back our superintendents to make the call in the field and aim to provide the support and resources needed to do the job right. What You'll Do Run day-to-day operations on commercial construction sites, keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and to Osman's quality standard Work hand in hand with Project Managers to build and hold the schedule and coordinate subcontractors and self-perform crews Run regular site inspections for safety, building code, and contract compliance Get ahead of field issues and resolve them quickly, keeping clear communication with everyone on the project Keep accurate daily reports, inspection records, and documentation of project progress Represent Osman in the field with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and the surrounding community What We're Looking For 5+ years as a Site Superintendent in commercial construction A track record of coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to hit deadlines Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and safety practices Solid leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Clear communication with field crews, project teams, and clients Experience on LEED or sustainable projects is a plus What We Offer Employer-paid health insurance for you and your family Pension and 401(k) retirement plans The chance to lead diverse, high-profile commercial projects across the region An inclusive, respectful culture that values your expertise and backs your decisions Long-term stability with an established, respected contractor that's still growing Build Your Career at Osman At Osman Construction, we build more than buildings, we build careers.
