Construction Sales Admin / Contracting & SOW

Buchanan Company is seeking an experienced construction office coordinator/bid specialist to join our team. As a Sales Coordinator / Bid Specialist, you work directly with and support the activities of our sales teams and customers. You will respond to inquiries, collect and review documents, process and monitor bid requests and support the sales teams to timely quote issuance and follow-up through active management of the process via our CRM and customer communication.

What you may do in a day:

• Develop and review proposal documents with prospects and the sales team.
• Manage project opportunities, status, and results in our CRM systems
• Communicate with customers and internal staff continuously to clarify information and requirements.
• Build and maintain a strong working relationship with teammates and office staff.

The ideal Customer Service/Quote Specialist will have:

• High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with CRM information systems.
• Inside Sales, Customer Service or Quoting experience.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications.
• Close attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to meet timelines, manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
• Strong, clear, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, with adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment .
