Senior Scientist, I

AbbVie seeks a Senior Scientist I to support process development of Antibody Drug Conjugates in the Process Development Science and Technology group. The role involves designing experiments, analyzing data, and directing ADC conjugation and purification operations from lab to pilot scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and perform experiments on ADC conjugation and purification unit operations
- Analyze experimental results and analytical data to formulate conclusions
- Perform conjugation and purification operations at lab to pilot-scale
- Prepare samples and operate HPLC-based analytical assays
- Author regulatory documents, publications, and patents; mentor team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years experience, or PhD
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of scientific discipline
- Demonstrated analytical skills and logical thought process
- Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering degree with hands-on laboratory techniques
- Prior ADC chemistry and HPLC-based analysis experience preferred
- Proficiency with relevant analytical and process development technologies
