Building Services Manager

Building Services Manager – USC Housing USC Auxiliary Services supports more than 65,000 students, faculty, and staff across our campuses. This role is part of the Housing division, overseeing daily operations of a large residential service center.” Accountabilities Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers, ensuring full satisfaction and timely resolution of issues. Recruit, screen, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and manage performance of assigned staff, providing guidance, feedback, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed. Schedule, assign, and prioritize workloads; manage projects to completion, obtain estimates, and monitor progress. Manage onsite facility: open/close department, maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, conduct daily building inspections, and coordinate maintenance with Housing Maintenance. Identify and resolve immediate operation issues; liaise with University security and Public Safety as Campus Security Authority (CSA) and mandatory reporter under the Clery Act. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve department operations and security practices. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Education: Associate’s degree (or combined experience/education as substitute). Minimum Experience: 1 year in facilities management. Valid California driver’s license required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Salary Annual base salary range: $75,000.
