Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate emotional and behavioral challenges faced by clients and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring safety and immediate support for clients navigating critical situations.

• Engage in regular follow-up sessions with clients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans according to best practices and clinical guidelines.

• Maintain meticulous records, including clinical notes and treatment documentation, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and legal requirements.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, psychiatrists, and healthcare providers, to formulate effective treatment plans and coordinate care, including discharge planning.

• Act as a liaison with community resource groups and represent the clinic at local meetings, actively contributing to initiatives that address the social needs of our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with a diverse clientele, including children, families, and older adults who may be experiencing a wide range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in providing therapeutic interventions that foster healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required, coupled with a valid and active license to practice as an LMFT in California.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in providing therapy, especially in crisis counseling and working with various age groups in outpatient settings.
