Job Summary Title: Paramedic Base Pay Rate Range: $27.50 - $40.50 per hour, based on experience Location: Orange/Ulster County, NY Additional Locations/Areas Available: Rockland County, Capital District, Delaware County, Newburgh, Glens Falls Employment Types: Full Time, Part-Time, and Per-Diem Schedule: Varies Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (with company contribution), Direct Deposit, Paid time off (PTO), 401(k) Pay and Bonus Incentives: $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, $5,000 sign-on bonus for part-time Differentials: Night Shift Differential, Dedicated Hospital Shift Differential, Overtime pay opportunities, Referral Bonus opportunities (refer EMTs and/or Paramedics) Responsibilities Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to ensure top-tier patient care. Be flexible with a 24-hour shift schedule that may vary. Maintain up-to-date standards of care, equipment functions, certifications, licenses, and registrations. Conduct yourself courteously, helpfully, and professionally when dealing with patients, co‑workers, supervisors, and the public. Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of State and County protocols. Provide top-tier medical transport to facilities, assuming responsibility for patient care and following established policies. Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking and taking ownership of the space. Gather patient billing information and obtain necessary billing signatures. Prepare and submit pre‑hospital patient care reports. Respond promptly to assignments from the Dispatch Center. Perform other tasks as assigned. Requirements New York State Paramedic License. Must obtain Hudson Valley REMAC Certification within 30 days of hire. Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record. Valid Healthcare Provider BLS CPR Card. Valid ACLS Certification. Valid PALS Certification. Must be able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs. or more. Demonstrate Physical Aptitude Test success. Tech-savvy or comfortable with technology. Ability to work on a team.
