Work Environment As a remote position, the role offers unique flexibility, allowing our LCSWs to create their own work environment while adhering to our established protocols for telehealth practices. You will connect with clients primarily through our secure telehealth platform, ensuring that therapeutic confidentiality and professionalism are maintained. Key Responsibilities Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with individual clients and groups, adapting modalities to fit their specific needs and circumstances. Perform comprehensive assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients' emotional, social, and mental health needs, using their input to inform personalized treatment plans. Design and implement intervention strategies tailored to each client to address their particular challenges and facilitate their recovery. Provide immediate crisis intervention when necessary to ensure client safety, employing effective techniques to de-escalate high-stress situations. Connect clients with community resources, social services, and educational support networks that enhance their mental health and overall well-being. Maintain meticulous electronic client records, progress notes, and treatment plans while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care, following up with clients and other stakeholders on their progress. Serve as an educator for clients, promoting awareness of coping strategies, effective communication techniques, and self-care practices necessary for long-term success. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of current research and best practices in clinical social work and teletherapy. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily support children and adolescents within a school setting. You will work with diverse populations facing various emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial challenges, providing tailored therapeutic support to facilitate their social and academic success. Understanding the unique needs and experiences of this group will be crucial in developing trusting relationships that empower them in managing their mental health. Qualifications A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia is mandatory. A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required. At least three years of experience in a similar setting is highly desirable, with a focus on children or youth populations. Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and platforms is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively through virtual channels. A commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality at all times. Ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule to accommodate clients across various time zones. Preferred Experience Experience working with school-aged children and their families, understanding the unique dynamics of the educational system. Familiarity with community resources and social services available to assist clients in crisis. Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and teletherapy modalities. Compensation and Benefits Oasis of Hope Behavioral Health Center offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually.
