Construction Project Administrator

Job Title: Construction Project Administrator Location: San Leandro, CA 94577 Compensation: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour plus performance-based bonus/profit sharing Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Project Administrator to join our team in San Leandro, CA. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, supporting project accounting, and ensuring administrative compliance across multiple job sites. All candidates must successfully pass pre-employment screenings. Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain comprehensive project files and documentation Review and complete job packages with associated checklists Organize and manage as-built drawings and pole completion forms Assist Project Managers with work authorizations, reporting, and tracking Input project-related data for Accounts Payable and Payroll Submit certified payroll and ensure compliance with labor requirements Issue commitments, subcontracts, and process change orders Review and distribute invoices; maintain project financial records Prepare reports and support budget modifications as needed Qualifications: Associate's Degree or minimum 2–3 years of project administrative experience, preferably in construction 3+ years of experience in accounting, administration, or project support Proficient in documentation control and database/data entry systems Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines Detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of handling confidential information Prior experience with certified payroll and construction accounting is a plus Compensation & Benefits: Pay Range: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience) Benefits Include: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off and Holidays If you're a self-motivated professional looking to support exciting construction projects with a stable and growing company, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
