Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist at Positive Visions will be performed onsite in a welcoming and modern Rehabilitation Center. Our facility provides a warm and comforting atmosphere designed to make the rehabilitation journey as enjoyable and successful as possible. The center hours are Monday through Friday, 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life structure for our team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert, patient-centered care to a designated group of patients, facilitating their healing and rehabilitation journeys.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities, documenting findings meticulously to inform treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individual therapy plans that are tailored to meet each patient's specific goals and circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance patient mobility and function, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and therapeutic practices to be employed beyond therapy sessions.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members for seamless patient management and communication.
• Prioritize patient caseloads and manage scheduling for optimal patient flow and resource allocation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with diverse patient populations ranging from children to adults, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. Our clients often include those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders, enabling you to leverage a breadth of clinical skills and advanced therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy License in the state of Virginia.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Exceptional communication skills and a passion for patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
