Our facility encompasses 5,000 square feet of advanced sports medicine space, specifically designed to support recovery and enhance athletic performance. Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our Arlington rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate with a supportive team of two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. We operate in a fast-paced environment focused on high-quality patient care, and you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful interactions with your patients on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, delivering effective, evidence-based therapy techniques.
• Employ a range of cost-effective treatment modalities that enhance patients' mobility, and function while minimizing reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Design and implement individualized care plans that integrate various therapeutic approaches.
• Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs that align with patients' unique rehabilitation and fitness goals.
• Provide ongoing motivation and support during therapy sessions to foster an empowering rehabilitation experience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor therapy progress through regular evaluations and communicate changes with the patient and care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient care services using EMR software, such as WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, post-surgical procedures, or chronic pain conditions. Our client base is diverse, including athletes aiming to restore performance and individuals seeking to regain functionality in daily activities. We accept primarily private health insurance, ensuring our patients receive quality care tailored to their needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current and valid Virginia Physical Therapist License with no prior disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, including skilled manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This package includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
