Work Environment

This role is entirely onsite within a home care setting, providing you the unique opportunity to engage with patients in their own surroundings. This position allows for flexibility in scheduling, enabling you to choose your hours during weekdays, Monday through Friday. Our approach to patient care emphasizes thorough assessments, personalized treatment plans, and ongoing communication with patients and their families, resulting in improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in a home setting to evaluate their physical capabilities and limitations stemming from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities aimed at alleviating pain and improving mobility.

• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and assistive devices as necessary, recommending and fitting them to enable effective self-care and ambulation.

• Document treatments, monitor patient progress, and make timely adjustments to therapy plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.

• Provide education and training for patients, families, and caregivers regarding proper techniques, exercises, and the use of assistive devices to encourage independence in daily activities.

• Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, including children, adults, and seniors recovering from various orthopedic conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, though a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

• A valid state license to practice physical therapy is essential.

• Proficiency with electronic documentation and basic computer skills is required to manage patient records and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
