Job Full Description

Responsibilities

Respond to inquiries from the public regarding community, social service, and government resources.
Assess caller needs and screen for appropriate programs and services according to established protocols.
Provide accurate information and referrals to available resources.
Collect caller information and document interactions within the call management system.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and call handling guidelines.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while assisting callers.
Identify changes in community resources, agency services, and eligibility requirements and communicate updates to the Database Department.
Accurately enter and maintain data within agency systems.
Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced call center environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent active listening and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to assess needs and provide appropriate referrals.
Comfortable working with databases and data entry systems.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Call center, customer service, social services, healthcare, or community resource experience preferred.
