About the Opportunity

We are a specialized market research data operations provider focused on  survey programming, advanced survey logic, data cleaning, and secure survey hosting using the industry-leading  Decipher platform .

We are seeking an  Independent B2B Sales Representative to identify, develop, and close new business for survey programming and hosting projects.

This is a 100% remote, commission-only independent contractor (1099) position . It is particularly well suited for an experienced sales professional who already has relationships within the market research, consulting, marketing agency, or corporate insights industries.

What You'll Do

• Generate New Business: Independently identify, prospect, and approach boutique market research agencies, consulting firms, marketing agencies, and corporate insights teams.
• Own the Sales Cycle: Manage the process from cold outreach and initial conversations through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
• Build Client Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with clients and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Understand Client Needs: Learn the client's survey requirements, including questionnaire length, programming complexity, routing logic, and data-delivery requirements.
• Present Our Services: Communicate the value of our survey programming, data operations, and hosting capabilities to prospective clients.

Compensation

This is a 100% commission-only independent contractor position. There is no base salary or hourly wage.

Estimated annual commission earning potential: $40,000–$95,000+, based on project volume, with uncapped earning potential.

Our commission structure includes:

• 25% base commission on eligible programming and hosting revenue from closed deals.
• 30%–33% accelerated commission tiers when monthly volume milestones are achieved.
• 15% residual commission on repeat business from your accounts for the first 12 months.
• Fast payouts: Commission is distributed within 10 business days after the client's invoice has cleared.

Commissionable revenue includes programming, survey logic setup, data tabs, and hosting infrastructure. Third-party panel/respondent sample costs are excluded from commission calculations.

What We're Looking For

• 2–3+ years of B2B sales, outbound prospecting, or business development experience.
• Existing relationships or a strong professional network in  market research, consulting, marketing agencies, corporate insights, or related industries is highly desirable.
• Basic familiarity with the quantitative market research lifecycle, including questionnaires, survey programming/logic, and data delivery such as SPSS or Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to independently prospect, develop opportunities, and close business.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently as a 1099 contractor.
• Experience selling  SaaS, digital agency services, market research services, or professional services is highly preferred.
