Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the unique needs and recovery goals of clients dealing with substance use disorders, utilizing structured tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s circumstances.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions using motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and other relevant therapeutic modalities to facilitate personal growth and actionable change.

• Facilitate engaging and supportive group therapy sessions that provide a safe space for individuals to share experiences and build community as they navigate recovery.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other team members to ensure clients receive integrated and holistic care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing substance-induced emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery paths, coping strategies, and available community resources, enhancing their overall understanding and support systems.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and learning from your colleagues to promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• At least one year of relevant experience in a mental health or addiction counseling context.

• Strong knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented principles, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor in all client interactions.

• The ability to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and ensure confidentiality at all times.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and commitment to accurate documentation practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is preferred.

• Licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas is preferred.

• Experience in addiction therapy, including individual and group modalities.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to your base salary, potential bonuses may be available. We also provide a sign-on bonus to successful candidates to support their transition into our organization.
