Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, gathering information about their history and current challenges to identify their needs and goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques, ensuring each client receives tailored interventions aligned with their recovery objectives.

• Provide individual counseling sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to support clients in overcoming barriers to recovery.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions where participants can share experiences and support one another, fostering a sense of community and accountability among peers.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, exchanging vital information that ensures a holistic approach to treatment.

• Offer immediate support and crisis intervention for clients encountering severe substance-related challenges, utilizing de-escalation strategies as necessary.

• Educate clients and their families on addiction dynamics, effective recovery strategies, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines, documenting progress and treatment adjustments as needed.

• Participate actively in professional development opportunities, team meetings, and supervision sessions to remain informed on best practices and advancements in substance use disorder treatment.

• Engage with current research and innovative practices to continually enhance the effectiveness of your therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing substance use disorders, which may include a range of substances such as alcohol, opioids, stimulants, and prescription medications. The patient demographic is diverse and may include clients from various socio-economic backgrounds, ages, and cultures. Your approach will need to be adaptable to meet the unique needs of each individual, recognizing the varied perspectives and experiences that shape their relationship with substance use.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required, although advanced degrees such as a Master's or Doctoral degree are preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PSYD in the state of Washington.
\n
• Strong understanding of substance use disorders, detailed knowledge of evidence-based treatment methods, and commitment to recovery-oriented care.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect empathetically with a diverse client base.
\n
• Experience in crisis intervention is highly desirable, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving in high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
