In this full-time position, you will work remotely while actively contributing to the treatment of individuals navigating various mental health challenges.

Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote work environment, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while making a significant difference in the lives of our patients. Our outpatient office is equipped with the necessary technology to support seamless communication and collaboration with team members. You will typically work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological needs and devise tailored therapeutic plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other applicable modalities.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health issues and fostering community connections among participants.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute psychological distress or emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, available treatments, and external community resources to enhance their understanding and autonomy.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in accordance with legal standards, ensuring compliance with ethical healthcare practices.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The mental health counselors will work with a diverse client population, addressing a wide range of mental health conditions including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. The ability to work with individuals from various backgrounds and life experiences will be critical in offering tailored care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a current and valid license as an LCSW in California.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated competency in conducting mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.

• Experience in providing effective individual and group therapy to a varied clientele is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with clients.

• Sound judgment, adherence to ethical standards, and an understanding of professional boundaries are necessary.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office applications is preferred.

• The ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team is critical to delivering coordinated patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of professional counseling experience is preferred, we value the passion for mental health care and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Experience in crisis counseling or working with specific mental health populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
