Job Summary:
An Ultrasonographer Echo is sought for a healthcare position in Sacramento, California. This role involves performing ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The selected candidate will contribute to patient care across diverse age groups, demonstrating expertise in adult and pediatric ultrasonography.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) and BLS (Basic Life Support). Education requirements include relevant ultrasound certifications. Valid California State License and uploaded Nursys licensure record within the last 2 weeks. Experience with adult and pediatric patients, including complex congenital cases, preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult acute care, PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), Philips ultrasound equipment, and portable studies. Prior inpatient and outpatient ultrasound experience.
• Additional Information: The position may require rotation on weekends, approximately every 4th to 6th weekend, as staffing fluctuates. Call shifts from 1900 to 0630 may also be required. The candidate must complete required modules during orientation, with hours recorded through e-learning. All onboarding labs should be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing. Accurate work history verification covering the past 7 years is required, and all compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start date, which is scheduled for 08/03/2026.
