Sales Account Manager

Reporting Relationship Account Managers report to the Sales Manager. Expected Outcomes Develop and manage a customer base generating more than $5,000,000 of profitable revenue annually. Ensure all projects are completed successfully with highly satisfied customers. Contribute positively to the success of Colt teammates and our core purpose of PAVED FOR GOOD. Responsibilities Develop and manage a customer base of commercial property managers, property owners, and general contractors. Ensure customers are completely satisfied through effective communication, relationship building, and meeting their needs throughout the sales and production cycles. Evaluate paving plans and sites to create cost estimates and proposals, including drafting clear proposal language for scope, planning, scheduling, and risk minimization. Deliver proposals to customers, articulate Colt’s value proposition, pursue signed contracts, and ensure proper execution of contract documents. Track and report sales activities to management. Thoroughly transition sold projects to the Colt Production Team. Continue to work with the production team and communicate with customers to maintain a positive experience and high satisfaction. Manage change orders, customer issues, and overall communication with the customer. Add to the customer base by prospecting new potential customers. Update CRM daily with sales activities. Skills Proficiency in reading plans, performing take offs, and working on commercial construction projects. Proficiency with take‑off tools and project management portals (e.g., Construct Connect, Procore). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong ability to multitask and stay organized. Experience & Education 5+ years of experience as a salesperson or equivalent role generating revenue through sales activities for or with commercial contractors.
