Chef Manager

Job Description Aramark Student Nutrition provides food and nutrition services to over 350 school districts in the U.S. It offers public and private education institutions a variety of dining options including breakfast and lunch programs, after-school snacks, catering, nutrition education and retail operations. We’re looking for a Chef Manager who can help deliver the best customer service and food experiences. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead team development, culinary expertise, safety protocols, client relations, and play a key role in meeting budget requirements and executing company-delivered programs. Job Responsibilities Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food Select and develop recipes and standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality Establish presentation technique and quality standards, and plan and price menus Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance and maintain proper safety and sanitation in kitchen Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction or demonstrate culinary techniques In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.
