Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$2448.00/week - Job Summary: Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes through skilled clinical practices. Responsibilities: Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders and hospital protocols. Monitor patient conditions, document findings, and report significant changes to healthcare team. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, procedures, and health management strategies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Meditech system. Uphold hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines. Qualifications: Hold an active RN license in the state of Missouri. Have at least 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience. Possess BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Demonstrate proficiency with traction, fixators, and cooling equipment. Ability to perform post-op care for knee, hip, shoulder replacements, and trauma patients. Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, and bedside skills.
