As a dedicated PT, you’ll manage a full-time schedule and serve a caseload of 39 students, making a real difference in their educational and developmental journeys.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in school-based physical therapy preferred
• Ability to manage and schedule services across multiple locations
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
• Prior experience handling varied student needs and collaborating on IEPs desirable
• Flexibility and organizational skills to support a dynamic itinerant assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to 39 students per established IEPs
• Travel between schools as needed, ensuring consistent service delivery
• Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Document assessments, therapy sessions, and progress notes according to school and regulatory standards
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as required during the FMLA coverage
• Adapt therapy interventions to meet individual student goals in educational settings
