This opportunity involves providing vital FMLA coverage with full-time hours in an itinerant capacity, helping students reach their fullest potential through movement, mobility, and individualized care.

You’ll work across different sites, managing a diverse caseload of 39 students. Your expertise will help foster confidence, independence, and success in the academic environment for each student you serve.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Comfortable working with pediatric populations and a variety of physical abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with faculty, staff, and parents
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to various settings and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans geared toward students’ individual goals
• Address students’ physical needs so they can maximize participation in classroom activities
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with school and state guidelines
• Travel between buildings as an itinerant PT to reach all assigned students
