Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and travel between multiple school sites as needed
• Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in school physical therapy

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs)
• Assess and document students’ physical abilities, needs, and progress
• Develop and implement customized therapy interventions to support academic and functional mobility
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, parents, and other professionals to foster student engagement and achievement
• Contribute to IEP team meetings, providing expert recommendations and documentation
• Travel between different school sites, efficiently organizing your schedule to maximize service delivery
• Uphold compliance with state and federal regulations governing school physical therapy
