Make a meaningful impact supporting the communication development of TK–5th grade students in an engaging educational setting. This full-time contract role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential direct and indirect services through both in-person and teletherapy formats. You’ll manage a dynamic caseload comprised of students with diverse and unique needs, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other professionals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License or California CTC certification
- Clinical experience in schools, pediatrics, healthcare, or teletherapy environments
- Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, speech and language evaluations, and intervention planning
- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Enthusiasm for working with elementary-age students and diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services (direct and indirect) onsite and via teletherapy
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in accordance with compliance requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with staff and families to foster student growth and achievement
