Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - La Mesa, CA

This contract opportunity allows you to work with a diverse caseload of TK through 5th-grade students, delivering both direct and indirect services along with thorough evaluations and participation in IEP teams. Qualifications & Skills: Possession of a valid California SLP License or CA CTC Experience or knowledge in schools-based SLP, pediatrics, and healthcare settings Ability to provide speech-language services via in-person and teletherapy modalities Willingness to work with a caseload of students with varying speech and communication needs Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and delivering both direct/indirect services Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with teachers and parents Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those with CCC credentials Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to TK-5th grade students as outlined in IEPs Conduct comprehensive evaluations, write reports, and contribute to IEP meetings Manage a caseload featuring students with diverse needs, developing individualized strategies for each Collaborate with instructional staff and families to optimize student support Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in accordance with guidelines You’ll enjoy highly competitive compensation with weekly pay, access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a matching 401k, and flexible spending accounts.
