Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that focus on understanding the unique backgrounds and experiences of each patient.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect patients' cultural identities.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing resilience and addressing a variety of mental health concerns.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure that our patients receive thorough and coordinated care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies, helping patients navigate critical mental health challenges.

• Educate patients and their families about different mental health conditions, available treatment pathways, and community resources they can access.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with both legal regulations and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in ongoing training and team meetings to enhance your skills in cultural competency and therapeutic practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies related to mental health therapy, ensuring your practice remains innovative and effective.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily revolve around assisting individuals from multicultural backgrounds, with a focus on ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant communities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• A thorough understanding of various mental health disorders and proven expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Experience providing inclusive individual and group therapy sessions tailored to diverse client backgrounds.
\n
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills coupled with the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and other relevant technology for documentation and patient management.

• A firm commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and a safe therapeutic environment.

• Ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to collaborative care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
