Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients to accurately diagnose their mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches in delivering therapy services to individuals, groups, and families, adapting strategies to fit the unique needs of each client.

• Work collaboratively with other professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to each case by coordinating care with psychiatrists and case managers.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, employing de-escalation techniques and support to guide them to safety.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives, contributing to workshops and educational programs aimed at enhancing public understanding of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to foster trust and establish therapeutic relationships.

• Excellent organizational abilities and effective time-management skills to ensure timely and comprehensive documentation of cases.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of direct mental health counseling experience is required, candidates with additional experience in community mental health settings or in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care or substance use disorders are highly valued.
