Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day-shift Med/Surg position in Knoxville, TN, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and Cerner EMR proficiency.

Job Details

• Hospital Med/Surg unit (Floor 3) with 36 beds,
• Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM,
• Every other weekend required,
• Patient ratio of 6:1 to 7:1,
• Floating may be required,
• No on-call or block scheduling requirements,
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license - TN or Compact license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start),
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required,
• All ALC modules required,
• Total patient care experience required,
• Cerner EMR experience required,
• Valid driver's license required for consideration,
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Travel experience is preferred but not required,
• Royal blue scrubs required,
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position,
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
