Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry Unit position in Knoxville, TN, requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience and Cerner proficiency.

Job Details

• Day shift position, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM,
• 13-week contract,
• Med/Surg Telemetry Unit in a hospital setting,
• Patient ratio of 5:1,
• Uses Cerner EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start),
• Minimum 1 year of recent Step Down or Med/Surg Telemetry experience required,
• Cerner EMR experience required,
• Travel nursing experience preferred,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,
• A valid driver's license is required for consideration,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Must complete Advanced Learning Center modules for all required areas,
• Scrub color requirement: Royal Blue top (white, royal blue, or black t-shirt permitted underneath),
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration,
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
