The ideal candidate will have strong scheduling, insurance verification, patient registration, and customer service experience while ensuring excellent patient care and operational efficiency.Required QualificationsMinimum 2 years of healthcare administrative experienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredStrong understanding of medical scheduling, insurance verification, and patient coordinationExcellent communication and multitasking skillsKnowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standardsKey ResponsibilitiesManage patient check-in/check-out, payment collection, and reconciliationMaintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information within CS-Link/EMR systemsCoordinate complex scheduling, including provider visits, labs, EKG, echo, Zio, and specialty appointmentsHandle referrals, authorizations, and insurance benefit verificationMonitor patient schedules, track no-shows, and assist with reschedulingManage provider calendars and communicate schedule changes to patients and staffSupport patient flow and act as liaison between patients and clinical teamsAnswer high-volume phone calls, relay messages, and support operational workflowsRetrieve medical records while maintaining HIPAA complianceParticipate in staff meetings, departmental huddles, and process improvement initiativesPerform additional administrative and courier-related duties as assignedPreferred SkillsExperience working in a high-volume outpatient clinic or hospital settingFamiliarity with EMR systems and automated call distribution (ACD)Strong organizational and customer service abilities Pacer Group
