We require an experienced cook who is familiar with a wide range of cooking techniques, including poaching, braising, roasting, charbroiling, sautéing, grilling, frying, and baking. Responsibilities: • Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management • Assemble a system of food stations and fill them with everything they need for the shift • Maintain work stations, including all countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition per health and safety regulations • Interact with visitors, vendors, and associates while maintaining a professional and positive attitude • Prepare food orders on the line by cooking items to order, grilling, broiling, sauteing and meet all presentation guidelines and follow standard recipes Qualifications: • Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate Compensation: $14 - $17 hourly
