Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at High Energy Body & Home Care, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring optimal physical function.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of the care plan, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, utilizing diagnostic instruments to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capacities.
• Adapt treatment approaches based on patient assessments, environment evaluations, and ongoing progress in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, traction, and the application of physical agents like heat and cold, while instructing patients on their effective use.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with state regulations.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and modifications to treatment plans.
• Engage with patients and their families to educate them on physical therapy regimes and the proper use of equipment, ensuring clarity and confidence in their recovery journey.
• Be accessible to Physical Therapy Assistants during treatment sessions to provide guidance and assessment.
• Perform any other tasks as may be assigned to support the overarching objectives of the clinic and enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current, valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey, maintaining good standing.
• At least one year of prior experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in acute care or home health environments.
• Current certification in CPR, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and emergency readiness.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
