Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an experienced professional in interventional radiology technology. As an IR Tech, your expertise in imaging will be crucial in supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist, with IR Tech specialization.
• Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) preferred.
• Valid state licensure for radiologic technology.
• Previous hands-on experience in interventional radiology procedures.
• Strong knowledge of imaging techniques, patient safety, and sterile field principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during minimally invasive procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient comfort.
• Adhere to established protocols to maintain radiation safety standards for patients and staff.
• Perform accurate documentation of procedures, observations, and patient records.
• Monitor and manage inventory for the IR suite, ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
• Apply critical thinking and rapid problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, answering questions and providing reassurance.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the work area in accordance with best practices.

$2,904 - $3,072/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
