Shipping Clerk

What You’ll Do The Shipping Clerk is responsible for helping in the Shipping/Receiving Office and will also assist in loading and unloading trucks. You will use a scan gun and computer, accurately updating inventory and related information. You will work with Kerry and non-Kerry personnel to ensure the inventory moving in and out of the Byesville plant aligns with business needs. This role includes safely transporting finished product from racking onto trucks and placing products in racks or tier stacking them from the floor. You will cross‑train and perform multiple Shipping/Receiving functions, help keep the office and warehouse clean, and report to the Warehouse Supervisor. In the absence of the Traffic Coordinator, another Traffic Coordinator or Team Lead/Supervisor will serve as backup. What You’ll Need to Succeed High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old. Experience in food or chemical manufacturing (preferred 1 year). Prior operation and certification with electric pallet jacks and lift trucks (preferred 6 months). Experience with inventory management, RF scanners, cycle counting, and SAP software is a plus. Ability to accurately prepare, receive, and ship orders following customer, company, and regulatory standards. Strong attendance, flexibility for overtime, and commitment to safety and GMPs, including PPE usage. Attention to detail, math and analytical skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to complete required certifications and promptly report food safety or quality concerns. What's in it for You The pay rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.
