Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad spectrum of ultrasound exams, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the process by clearly explaining each phase with empathy
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver outstanding diagnostic images
• Regularly operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any issues
• Accurately track procedures and maintain well-organized patient records within our electronic system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound techniques and protocols

Required Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
