Benefits Manager (Hybrid)

Direct Hire Division of Consilio, LLC is working with a highly regarded law firm that is seeking to hire a Benefits Manager. This position is not with Consilio directly; it is a direct hire, permanent opportunity with the law firm.

Hybrid Work Schedule

Salary: $115,000-$140,000

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to lead the administration and strategy of our employee benefits and leave management programs. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional with deep expertise in benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and employee leave programs. The Benefits Manager will play a critical role in ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the administration of all employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness offerings.
• Oversee leave management programs, including FMLA, ADA state levels, and company leave policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits and leave administration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits and leave- related inquiries.
• Partners with vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders to evaluate and enhance benefit offerings.
• Manage annual open enrollment processes and employee communications.
• Analyze benefits utilization, trends, and costs; provide recommendations for program improvements.
• Maintain accurate employee data within HRIS systems and generate reports as needed.
• Develop and deliver employee data within HRIS systems and generate reports as needed.
• Develop and deliver employee education and communication materials related to benefits programs.
• Collaborate with HR leadership on benefits strategy, policy development, and process optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience, with a strong focus on benefits administration and leave management.
• Law firm experience is strongly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of employee benefits programs, leave administration, and related employment laws.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and HR technology
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and employee relation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
