We are looking for a reliable Collision Estimator & Shop Coordinator to write repair estimates, manage parts, keep shop production moving on schedule, and work directly with insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimating: Inspect vehicle damage and write accurate repair estimates and supplements using industry software (CCC ONE, Mitchell, etc.).
- Parts Management: Order required parts, track delivery times, and verify accuracy before work begins.
- Production Support: Coordinate with body technicians and painters to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the shop and meet promised completion dates.
- Insurance Liaison: Communicate directly with insurance adjusters and Direct Repair Programs (DRPs) to speed up approvals and maintain strong network relationships.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of collision estimating experience.
- Proficiency with major estimating software (CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex).
- Knowledge of auto body repair methods and parts.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
