Human Resources Coordinator

HR CoordinatorThe HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the human resources team in daily HR operations, including onboarding, employee record management, benefits administration, and HR communications. This role will partner with HR and other departments to ensure smooth processes, maintain compliance, and provide a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. This individual will take a collaborative approach to supporting HR initiatives and contributing to overall organizational effectiveness. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Director.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform clerical functions for the HR staff including maintaining accurate employment filesAssist with the distribution of communication including but not limited to recruitment materials, resumes, benefits confirmations and statements, and payroll correspondenceReview and maintain employee filesCompile data from the HRIS system and prepare reportsScreen telephone calls and incoming mailArrange the use of conference rooms. Coordinate schedules, make appointments and prepare agendas. Take meeting notesCoordinate special events with outside vendorsAssist with payroll and benefits issuesPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:Knowledge of general HR functionsKnowledge of state and federal laws governing personnel administrationKnowledge of general office proceduresSkilled in file maintenance and organizing alphabetically and numericallySkilled in office computer application (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Ability to thoroughly understand the company's HR policies and proceduresAbility to maintain confidential informationAbility to operate routine office equipment such as a fax machine, copy machine, telephone, and personal computerAbility to interact with all levels of managementAbility to present information in a clear concise mannerAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with employees and vendorsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and publicA high school diploma or GED is required for this role
