Manager, Human Resources

Sughrue Mion, PLLC, an internationally recognized Intellectual Property law firm, with 70 attorneys and 130 staff employees in Washington, DC, is seeking a Manager of Human Resources, The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the Firm on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the Firm's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. Responsibilities Attorney and non-attorney recruiting and employment Salary administration Training and development New attorney and staff orientation Employee relations Benefits administration Maintaining compliance with applicable state and federal regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree or relevant experience SHRM certification preferred 5+ years' experience in Human Resources, preferably in a law firm Knowledge of laws, practices and systems related to HR Knowledge and experience with employee benefits administration Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills Attention to detail and good judgement Ability to balance a wide variety of responsibilities Experience with a variety of computer systems and applications Excellent written, oral communication and training skills Position Location This position is located in the Washington, DC office which is currently operating in a hybrid mode, and may require some in-office attendance as well as remote work. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sughrue Mion PLLC
