Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our modern outpatient office located in Gainesville, Virginia. You will join a collaborative team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), within a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a consistent routine that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's goals and individual needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, providing focused attention to each individual during their therapy sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient practices to deliver effective treatment interventions that enhance motion, improve mobility, and reduce dependency on medications or surgical interventions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
• Design fitness and wellness programs that address specific patient needs, emphasizing preventive care to promote long-term health.
• Document patient care services meticulously, ensuring adherence to compliance standards while evaluating their progress and communicating with the broader health care team.
• Inspire and motivate patients during their treatment process, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages optimal functioning and lifestyle improvements.
• Consult with other health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily involve working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will be instrumental in providing compassionate care that focuses on restoring functional movement and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid Virginia Physical Therapist License, with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of exercise prescription and biomechanics.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, including platforms like WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required, providing you with familiarity with common treatment protocols and patient interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement specific treatment plans that cater to individual patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
