Maintenance Technician
$30-40 per hour
Join a dynamic and innovative packaging company as a Maintenance Technician specializing in repairing mechanical and electrical systems. With a focus on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, you will work with cutting-edge packaging equipment and contribute to the growth and efficiency of the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on packaging equipment, X-ray machines, blenders, mixers, baggers, labelers, ink jet coders, and heat shrinking machines.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and wire up to 480V motors.
- Repair and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and use HMI programs effectively.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Replace, troubleshoot, and repair Photo Eyes.
- Utilize MIG and TIG welding and fabrication skills.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance using an MRP system.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Knowledge of wiring, PLC, HMI, VFD, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience in packaging or GMP environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of 480V electrical systems.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting including inputs and outputs.
- Skills in welding and wiring.
- Ability to work collaboratively with operators.
Work Environment
Work in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility spanning 200,000 sq. ft., equipped with advanced packaging machines, conveyors, and processing machines. Choose from three shifts: 1st shift, 2nd shift, or 3rd shift, Monday to Friday and Saturday for overtime, with a total of 50-55 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00/yr. Full Benefits, insurance and benefits. I have full package to provide to candidates
