Assistant Sales Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Achieves agreed budget, GP, targets and continuously monitors actual sales performance against budget by product and customer.

2. Assist manager in marketing plan execution [formulation, implementation, follow-up and evaluation] by:

• Identifying key customers and marketing opportunities from analyzing survey results
• Evaluating prospect product volume and market consumption capacity
• Monitoring & reporting competitors' activities on a regular basis
• Assisting manager achieve sales target and establishes long term customer relationship

3. Plans itinerary and customers visit:

• Visiting key/potential customers regularly scheduled [weekly, customer visit/meeting plan] and writing reports which are required from all concerned parties
• Cooperating with manager and relating suppliers solve customer problems

4. Co-handling with manager to make consistent products price with budget during fluctuating demand and supply. Ability for demand/supply forecast and inventory management.

5. Reporting & monitoring the adequate product and sampling stock levels with updated MSDS and necessary documents relating to product in the effective way.

6. Manage activities, reports and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure business growth. Introducing latest development products/new requirements from suppliers to direct reports & customers.

7. Manage sale process and ensure all sales activities are carried out in full compliance:

• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and technical teams to fulfill customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in Salesforce/CRM system.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support as well as suppliers and follows company procedures solving customer complaints with win-win solution.

9. Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirement/Specification:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Food, Biotech, Chemistry or any related field

Experience: At least 8 years experiences in Sales & Marketing, or related such as RD, QC, marketing in Food and Biotech industry. Experience working in distributors or manufacturers will be preferred.

Age: 30-40

• Product Knowledge / Business Acumen, Basic Marketing Knowledge
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
• Experience in team supervision or leadership role is preferred
• Inventory Management
• Good communication, negotiation, Interpersonal skills and presentation skills. Ability to interact with both commercial and technical stakeholders (procurement, R&D, QA, Production, etc.)
• Fluency in Thai and English. Candidates with Chinese language skills will be given special consideration.
• Possess a valid driving license and strong driving capability.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel for business purposes across upcountry locations.
• Able to undertake overnight business trips and extended travel assignments as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to use Excel for basic data analysis, pricing, and sales reporting
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar)
