Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to reach clients effectively. Our operation is structured around a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced approach to work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients through thorough evaluations and diagnostic interviews.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique goals and preferences of each client, utilizing a person-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address specific mental health needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices to enhance overall well-being.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress within therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs.

• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration by coordinating care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to support holistic treatment strategies.

• Stay informed about advancements and research in mood disorder treatments to continually enhance clinical practices.

• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards while keeping accurate documentation in line with legal and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with individuals diagnosed with mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Your dedication to providing empathetic care will assist clients in navigating their challenges and achieving their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
