Back Purchasing Specialist Job Type: Temporary to Hire Location: Lake Mary, FL 32746 Work Schedule: Monday Friday 100% in Office! Hours: 8am - 5pm Compensation: $25/hr - $29/hr Benefits: HDV while on contract - full benefits once permanent Sanford Rose is looking for a talented Purchasing Specialist for a great trade services production client of ours in the Lake Mary, FL area on a TEMPORARY TO HIRE basis. This role is great for someone who enjoys working with vendors, suppliers, and collaborating with different departments. Responsibilities: Serve as primary liaison with vendors to foster strong relationships, negotiate terms, and coordinate cross-functional communication between our internal team and external vendors/suppliers Oversee end-to-end stock management, including supply coordination, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, and collaboration with warehouse teams Execute purchasing activities based on daily replenishment needs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Keep track of vendors and work with them to ensure they are compliant within their contracts Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital inventory records, including purchase orders and receipts Assist with cost analysis and cost-reduction initiatives Track and verify all incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders, invoices, and freight documentation Conduct routine and annual physical inventory checks to ensure stock integrity and reconcile discrepancies Support procurement reporting and analysis to optimize inventory levels and supply chain efficiency Qualifications: 4+ years of solid experience within purchasing, inventory control, and cost analysis H.S Diploma required, A.A. a plus Experience in the manufacturing industry highly preferred Strong Computer & Software literacy Excel - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, Formulas Pleasant but is assertive and authoritarian in order to get things from warehouse leaders Ability to communicate via phone and email effectively with internal and external partners Ideally looking for someone with good tenure in previous positions #J-18808-Ljbffr JFS and Associates
